Nausea

Before I went in to surgery the doctor applied a scoalimine patch behind my ear, I mentioned anesthesia can make me nauseous and vomit. They continued that in the hospital and sent me home with enough for the first few weeks. Never experienced any nausea. Maybe some of you can ask your PCP? It's hard to eat and drink when you are not feeling well.

They gave me Reglan IV in the hospital and then sent me home with a scopolamine patch, but I was told to only take OTC Reglan if I was having so much nausea I couldn't eat/keep clear fluids down, as nausea can often indicate that you are eating/drinking too much/too fast and they wanted me to be able to feel that discomfort so I can learn my pouch.

Come visit me on my blog, Through a Cooking Glass! I talk about my journey through WLS and learning to live, cook, and eat on the other side.
