I am about 7 weeks out. Just wondering if i can eat pickles or corn. These are 2 foods that i have not heard anything about.

What does your surgeon's meal plan say?  I was on a regular diet and seven weeks and could eat pretty much anything.

I was OK to eat a pickle or two, but for corn I had to wait 3 months. It is harder on your intestines. I actually drank a little pickle juice the 3rd week, as I was sick of sweet tasting.

I haven't heard anything about pickles but on my plan corn is a no-no. But that doesn't mean it's allowed or not allowed on your plan. Everyone's plan is different.

On my plan, I could eat pickles as soon as I could tolerate raw vegetables. I can take or leave corn, so I avoid it.

I fight badgers with spoons.

My instructions were nothing like that for 8 weeks and especially no seed bearing fruits.  Corn is starchy and probably not a good idea ever.  Having said that, I had corn on the cob about ten months out.  I never have craved pickles so I have only one comment...they are loaded with sugar and salt.

I love them both... But at sixteen months out corn is deadly for me. It is the ONLY thing that makes me dump... Go figure
Try a small amount if its on your plan... Then wait.... Wait a little longer... Then try a little more. You will know if they feel ok.
