NSV's for January
So since the beginning of December my losing has slowed down, somewhat. I'm 5 months out now...not to far out, and I'm sure a time when it's easier to plateau. I lose 2 pounds, then nothing for a week or more, then lose 2 more pounds, then nothing, and so on. I'm OK with it, actually - I feel really good, I'm only 10.5 pounds away from my own personal weight goal of 175, and I'm trying really hard to use the tool in a way that I'll be able to use the tool for the rest of my life. But it does get a little...ugh...when it's been 7 days without the scale moving (and I only weigh myself once or twice a week). So I've been trying to pay closer attention to the NSV's. I've had 3 in January:
1. Three different people in the last week have used the word "skinny" when talking about me and my weight loss. That is a foreign word when it relates to me!
2. I bought my first item of clothing from the Misses department last Monday.
3. My small, cheap bath towels from Walmart will now wrap around me completely, no gap.
