Are they requesting a SF cake?  or is it something that you are wanting? You might want to make 2 different ones. One normal one then one SF one

Look up diet soda cake. Only three ingredients.  Cake mix, diet soda and one other.

You know that most cake mix have sugar in them? right? And the SF usually have a lot of SA - now farting wedding party - that will be original... lol

If you manage to find a recipe for a SF, low/carb, high protein chocolate cake, please let me know ASAP - LOL! It's not just sugar that makes me dump, but any simple carbs, so the flour gets to me, too. I have had some good success with the little microwave cakes on Eggface's site, but those are not fancy enough for a wedding.

This isn't fancy enough for a wedding either, but I saw your post and immediately thought of this recipe I put on my blog: http://neensnotes.com/2008/08/20/the-happiest-cupcake/

It is not entirely sugar-free, but it is high protein and unbelievably delicious. Clean Eating Magazine also has a recipe on their website for low-flour chocolate cupcakes with a low glycemic impact. I make these for parties and people loooove them: http://cleaneatingmag.com/Recipes/Recipe/Chocolate-Sour-Crea m-Cupcakes.aspx

Why don't you just make a regular cake but use Swerve or Truvia instead of sugar?

Pillsbury makes a s.f. cake mix.  I just mix it with a can of diet soda and bake. Really good, really dense.  Add some s.f. cool whip for frosting, and you have a cake.
