Urine output....
Before my surgery I was in the bathroom at least every 30 minutes. I lived with a 44 oz glass in my hand with iced tea.
I have on my third glass of water today, which will give me 72 oz of water when I'm done and I've been in the bathroom twice today and the first time was very little and my urine is very yellow. I know I'm getting in fluid, and I don't feel like I'm going to the bathroom as much as I should.
Maybe I just don't know what normal is now that I've done this surgery. I feel like I'm not getting enough fluids..........Any help or suggestions?? Should I call my doc??
Thank you!
Can you have too much water??? I'm only 4 weeks out.........I worry about so much stuff and doing things wrong!!
Ha, YES!! I thought of that just a bit ago when I went to the bathroom again!! I started a B complex yesterday. I am taking 3 a day!!! I bet that is what it is!! Thank you!!!
Experiencing the same thing...guessing it has something to do with my Type II being in remission and my organs not having to work so hard?? I do get at least 64 ounces of fluid per day. I sure do enjoy being able to sleep the whole night without getting out of bed. If somebody knows or has a good idea, please let us both know, thanks.

The guideline for fluids is "at least 64 oz". I find that my body works best when I get at least 120 oz of fluid. Everyone is different so I encourage you to drink up! You will be able to tell when you find the right balance for you. If I get less than 120 oz, I get leg cramps, my mouth is dry, I get constipated....the list goes on and on. You would have to drink gallons of water a day for it to be "too much". I would call your doctor if you are seeing any swelling in your feet and ankles (this might indicate that you are not "getting rid" of extra fluid in your system) or if you are having any pain when you urinate.
