Book Recommendations?

Okay I know if I looked through all of the posts long enough I am sure I could come up with the info, but I am going to ask the question anyway.  What is your favorite bariatric cook book or book for living post-op?

I will obviously have a little bit of time to read after my surgery and I have an Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket.

So if you have any suggestions I am all ears.

Thanks!

I'm pre-op, I have read "weight loss surgery for dummies" and I really liked it. It even has some meal plans and recipes in it. I also just ordered 3 cookbooks from amazon. I got "eating well after wls", "wls cookbook for dummies", and "recipes for life after wls". As I look through them,I like the last 2 best. the dummies cookbook book has a section where you can look up recipes according to your food stage. I like that a lot.

Thanks, I downloaded the dummies book last night to my iPad. It looks like it will be beneficial.

I purchased the "eating well after WLS" from Amazon.  it's a great cook book, love the recipes and each one has a section that tells you what your portion size should be based on the surgery you had an how post op you are.... my only complaint about the book is that recipes don't reduce the quantities for cooking, so you essentially are still cooking regular amounts.  I was hoping the cook book would have smaller portioned recipes, but otherwise some very decent easy recipes.

I don't do books but there are many blogs. My two faves are the world according to eggface and bariatric foodie.
