What are you doing/eating today? TGIF!

It's Friday! Yesterday was a great day. I went out with a friend that I haven't seen in a while. I took her to my Zumba class, and then we grabbed dinner (I got salad with baked salmon). Today will be the first day in weeks I won't be working out. So that's kind of exciting. I just have to evaluate a fellow instructor and do a group project, so very easy day!

Foods:

Breakfast: Coffee and protein shake

Lunch: Salad with salmon (making it at home, can't seem to get enough!)

Dinner: Leftover Meatloaf

Snack: Peanut butter and apple

Have a great day all!

Happy, happy, HAPPY Friday

Today I have been tasked with one of THE most boring assignments ever: copy editing a BUNCH of really technical documents. Sigh. Such is the life of the lowly staff writer. It can't all be magazines and glory ;)

Eats today as I know them for this 3rd to last Meatless Friday:

1. Click Frapp

2. I'm going to try not to go get a grilled cheese sandwich from Grilled Cheese & Company but instead get maybe a salad with some fish. Pray for me (swing a chicken, send good juju, appeal to the universe or whatever it is that you do!)

3. 3/4 of a Quest Banana Nut Muffin Bar

4. Ummmmm...not sure. I may make my youngest child's wish come true and get some TVP so I can make tuna burgers.

5. An apple

6. A cheesestick

7. If need be, a protein shake (I am decided MORE hungry on Meatless Fridays than on other days. Some of this is the carbs. Some of it is lack of advance preparation to make hearty, protein heavy meatless meals. Sigh.)

RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!

TGIF! Today I did my yoga practice, and now I'm at work. I am feeling much stronger these days, and have learned a lot of new poses recently. I can even do an unsupported shoulder stand now!

The new issue of the journal I am production editor for is fresh off of the press and looks great! I am really proud of the cover for this one:

This weekend we're going out with friends on Sunday night to celebrate my husband's birthday. I'm going to make him some delicious kind of cake, but for the most part we only have plans to relax.   Food today: Day - Coffee and water Evening - Pan-fried chicken for dinner, and then kashi bars, plain yogurt with berries, and an egg with broccoli will be my snacks. Looking forward to that chicken! It is one of our favorite meals.   Have a happy Friday all!

Thank you! It just came in the mail yesterday from www.ideeli.com. I think they sell the brand at Macy's (it's called Joseph A.), and the clothes always seem to have neat patterns.
