What do you pack for your lunch?
Hi there-
I go back to work on Monday and am having trouble coming up with ideas for lunch. I am a teacher so there are some days that I have lunch duty. In that case, I will just have a protein shake while I walk around and monitor the kids. But I am having trouble thinking of things to pack for lunch on the other days. I usually only have 20-25 minutes to eat (depending on how quickly I can get my students through the lunchline).
So far, I've thought of:
*soup
*refried beans
*tuna and whole grain crackers
*slice of cheese and whole grain crackers
Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance for sharing your ideas!

I usually pack:
String Cheese or Babybel Cheese
Nuts
Protein Bar
Beef Jerky
Greek Yogurt
Hard Boiled Eggs
I would avoid crackers this early out, just my opinion. I did not add crackers in until almost a year out and regret it now. Carbs like that typically make me crave more carbs and it is an endless cycle.
OMGoodness-so yummy!!! I tried that after you suggested it! I had a piece of lowfat cheese with a thin slice of meat and I put a sliced pickle ("slickle") in it (folded in half). It was so yummy!! Thank you for the great suggestion!!

Since we eat so much less at dinner there are usually leftovers. I ordered some divided plates with snap on lids that can be microwaved on amazon for so when we finish dinner I make a plate for each of us for lunch... I also ordered a ms bento lunch thermos that has three or four compartments so if I have soup or chili or casserole type stuff I can put fruit or veg in another and maybe hummus/ pita in the last
