Found a bag at Wal mart - i is WONDERFUL! high in sodium but when I'm running around between kids softball practices, out for the afternoon with the family, etc- great source of protein!  My 10 & 13 yr old love it too!

Have you tried ostrich/beef sticks?  Made by Ostrim ?  They are pretty good - and only 80 calories and 14 grams protein!  Comes in different flavors such as teriyaki, peppered or original.   My trainer got me hooked on these.   You can buy on line, just look up by name of Ostrim.

Ostrim is way too salty for me. I use Jack Link's reduced sodium jerky. Yum! 3G carbs, but 15g protein for an ounce.

No protein per say, but I find apples/ pears to be a great in between meal snack.
