HELP. What is this?

So I earlier tonight I had 2 TBSP of refried beans for dinner. (No Fat)

Then a little while ago I had some water.

 

Now my pouch is making ridiculous noises, gurgling, etc. My nose is running, my eyes are running and I am sweaty. I am also yawning a lot. WHAT IS THIS? I don't feel like puking, but I don't feel normal either :/

Any clue?

You didn't provide your surgery date which is usually helpful. If you're on pain meds still, it could be an allergy to them. Maybe it's a combination of things that happened at once making it seem like it's all related. My full signal since surgery is a runny nose. Strange as it sounds, it's due to the vagus nerve. It happens also on occasion when I drink too fast. When in doubt, it's always a good idea to call your surgeons office.

I guess I was just really full from liquids then. :/ the sounds my pouch was making were insane. I didn't feel sick, I just didn't feel "normal."

I am a year out and my pouch still makes ridiculous noises all the time. Wife can hear them accross the room. I think it is normal when you drink things. My nose runs when I am full also.

How interesting, nose running when full!! I will remember that!

That's interesting. I am almost 3 months out and over the last few weeks, I've noticed something similar after I eat. But I can't pin point what is causing it. I don't feel like I might throw up, I'll just start feeling kind of bad and not normal. I'll ge****ery eyes, and yawn a whole lot. My husband noticed it and he gets worried. I have to lay down for about 20 mins before I start feeling better. It doesn't do it every time I eat just sometimes. I can't figure out what is making me do it or why.

Watch what foods are eaten prior to it happening. That is what carbs did to me preop because of my RH.

Post op I feel the watery eyed need to nap only after I eat one bite too many, or when I have a tad too many carbs.

Sounds very much like a carb coma - I'll bet you don't do it if you only eat protein and vegetables?  

No judgemet here, I only know what it is because it happens to me every time I overdo the carbs (particularly processed ones like bread, crackers etc)  It's like a little reminder to step back a bit!

I think you are right. I was on vacation in Hawaii, eating things I didn't normally, lots of airport food so that makes sense. I'm sure that's it. Cause at home I'm able to really control, that stuff, eat lots f protein, veggies and fruits. Doesn't seem to happen. Thanks
