3 months post-op tomorrow
Tomorrow Is my 3 month post op anniversary. I am so glad to be on this side of the surgery! I don't really have anything new or exciting to post other than feeling wonderful. If you are a pre-op, let me tell you first hand that this experience has been life altering and amazing in so many ways. I am now comfortable and confident in my eating habits, and drinking.water is no longer a struggle. At first taking all the vitamins was troublesome, worrying I would miss a dose, but just like anything, I've gotten into a great routine.
This site offers so much support...Glad I found you all! I'm not tech savvy at all so I don't have a "weight ticker" or "tracker" but as of today I weighed 174. The morning of surgery I was at 232. (I'm 5'2). Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see that number...ever!
I sat and went through pictures from our family vacation in Myrtle Beach last year, and in every picture I looked sad...I had a smile on my face, but my eyes were sad. Looking at recent pictures, my eyes are bright and happy. I don't think I knew how miserable I was until I started to feel good about myself.
Hope everyone is having a good Monday! :)
