My surgery was 5-13 just over two weeks ago... I am wondering what i can add to my exercise... I am walking plenty now but would like to add variety.... i have ddp yoga and billy's bootcamp "tae bo"... could I add those to the mix or is it too soon???  If i can't what other things can I do... i have no pain right now but don't want to push the envelope... Any suggestions?

I would really ask your surgeon. At two weeks my incisions were still healing and I would think something like Tae Bo would put strain on them. But doctor knows best, so I would ask. Kudos to you for feeling great and wanting to be active

My surgery was also 5/13. My doctor has asked me to wait 8 weeks to start yoga.

I am walking twice a day and doing biking. My doctor is very pro biking! I also run (and walk, lol!) the stairs at the local HS football stadium. 25 flights today!

Have you asked your doctor about Tae Bo?

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

I would stick with walking for now. I wouldn't do a lot of bending, twisting or weight bearing since you are still healing. Walk briskly!
