Has anyone performed a liver cleanse after having RNY?

What toxins do you think are in your body and how do you want to cleanse them out?  In most cases, I think those special liver cleanse diets are not very scientific and don't really get rid of many toxins, if you even have toxins in your body.

The best way to get rid of most toxins would be to drink lots of water, do some exercise (so you sweat), and eat healthy food.  We should all be doing that after RNY anyway.

I agree with Kelly, and it is the liver's job to cleanse the body of toxins, so I am not sure why people think it needs help to get rid of them, but that being said...

Probably the most likely problem you might encounter is a low blood sugar reaction to the fasting.  Anyone with hypogycemia or who doesn't have a Dx of hypoglycemia but gets shaky if they don't eat often enough should exercise great caution when fasting.
