Please know that you are in the hardest part of the weight loss phase and it really does get much, much better. Just hang in there and follow your doctors protocol. I really think that you will be amazed at the improvements in your health and your quality of life.

Congrats, Barbara.  My six year mark is in August, and I am also proud that I have been able to maintain a stable weight (I worried about being able to do that when I had surgery as well).  I didn't have any of the medical issues you had, but it is wonderful that you have had such improvements and I second ALL of the other benefits you mentioned!  Here's to the next six years!

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman.  I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
