Free MOOC class on nutrition and health
I have recently been taking free MOOCs. These are college level courses that are taught over the internet. Some have papers due or quizzes which you can take or not.
One of my ongoing goals is to learn more about nutrition. I didn't know a carbohydrate from a starch when I had surgery, so over the last three years, I've learned a lot, but not enough. Even in my monthly support group, the nutritionist doesn't seem too knowledgeable.
I've only MOOC'ed with coursera.org. There's about two hours of lectures each week broken into ten or twelve minute increments.

Interesting, thanks for the link!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
Very cool - I'd heard good things about coursera....
