From 430 Pounds to the Susan G Komen 3 day...
A little over 2 years ago, I was 430 pounds. Now I am 243 Pounds, and I'm in training for the 3 day. The hardest part is the fundraising.. If you can take a moment, read below and donate it would be appricated...
In the time it takes you to read this message another person will lose their fight with breast cancer. Just 74 seconds. That's all it takes for that same heartbreak to be inflicted on another family. That's why your donation to the next Susan G. Komen 3-Day® is vitally important. The funds we raise can help millions of breast cancer patients become breast cancer survivors. No one else is doing more to end this disease than Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. In the labs. In the clinics. In our communities. Let’s keep leading the fight to defeat breast cancer together!

I feel your pain! My first fitness goal was a Half- Marathon with TeamChallenge, which raises money for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America.... loved the training, hated the fundraising! I've always wanted to do the 3 day but I think they're only doing Race for a Cure up here in DC due to funding issues with Komen. Good luck in meeting your goal! Remember, be creative with your fundraising b/c breast cancer touches SOOO many lives!!
