NSVs - keeping my eyes on the real goal
My real goal for RNY was to get rid of my prescription meds including the metformin and the three blood pressure meds. Well, as of about an hour ago, I am officially off of all of them. My BP was 78/52 so I dropped the last one and my A1C was 5.7. I am officially 5 months out today and this was wonderful news of success. My liver functions were all normal as well, as compared to the significantly elevated levels prior to surgery. While I'm not stopping here, any weight loss beyond today is just icing on the cake.
The weight loss is a little stalled lately (2 pounds in the last three weeks) but today I don't care!
