1 Year progress with pics

I had my surgery on June 28th 2012. I started this process weighing at 269. I was 259 the day of surgery and 1 year later I'm at 154 pounds (btw I'm 5'8"). Down a total of 115 pounds...WOOHOO! This was the BEST thing that I've ever done. I was off both blood pressure meds within a month. I had horrible acid reflux (due to hiatal hernia that my surgeon fixed during surgery) and that is completely gone. I also had sleep apnea and that is gone too. Just amazing how much better I feel. Good luck to all those waiting for their surgery, you'll be so glad you did it!

You look fantastic! I had mine June 25th this year (5wks outs). It really motivates me and makes me excited to think I could maybe look like you a year from now.

VERY inspirational!!

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
