WooHoo!! JUST got my Surgery date!!

I got my surgery date yesterday!! I am so excited, August 26th is gonna be the day that it all changes...for the BETTER!

I was praying that 8/26 would be my date and after months and months it's finally gonna be here I just can't wait!

Any words of wisdom from anyone who has gone through surgery already maybe on the pro-op diet, things that you wish you had brought to the hospital with you or anything else?

Thank you!! I'm single, not married yet so I think thus far in my life, August 26th (what it means, not necessarily undergoing the actual procedure) will be the best day of my life until my wedding day! :)

Mine is August 27th!!

I haven't had surgery yet, but they say bring a pillow, toothbrush, mouthwash, pj bottoms and underwear and chapstick.  These are things I am planning to bring when my big day arrives.  God bless you and I hope you heal fast without complications.
