3 months out and feeling good!

• I am so happy I had the surgery! I have a long way to go still but I am enjoying the journey and the nsvs along the way. I am so happy to have more energy and to FEEL better both physically and emotionally. I am finally starting to get a shape (besides roundish). My 14 year old son is not overweight but has decided to live a healthier more active lifestyle as well. I am so grateful he is doing so now instead of letting any of his habits become lifetime problems. Thanks so much for all your support and help. So glad for the encouragement I find here. p.s. I do have some pictures of my progress on my profile but wasn't sure how to post them here.

CONGRATS!! isn't it an amazing journey, you are doing a great job, love hearing your son is joining you on better eating habits now, I think if they learn healthy choices early they  just do better in the long run:)

You are doing great. I had my surgery about a week after you and I have no regrets. My kids are happy with me now because we got to do stuff over the summer that we hadn't go to for years because I was too big and too tired to do it. I can't wait till next summer to get here.

Thank you:) I am so happy for you as well. The freedom losing weight gives us is amazing! I get exactly what you mean about being able to do more with your kids. I have a 14 almost 15 year old and a 4 year old and am way more fun of a mom now. I too am excited for next summer :) Wishing you continued success:)
