I RAN!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! I RAAAANNNNN!!! - oh, and another new picture!!
OK, so I squeezed my body into enough spandex to stop the tide and laced up my sneakers and hit the pavement this morning. I RAN! (Well, it was more like a trot, and then a walk while gasping for air...and then another trot...you get the idea!) But it is farther than my body has run in over 20 years!! The fat girl (yes, she is still inside me!) was cheering and giggling, saying "YAAAAAAYYYYY!!" (cough, cough...wheeze) It feels SO good to be able to use my body instead of just having to lug it around!

Above is the link to a picture of me and the DH a couple of evenings ago....I cannot express what good a picture can do for the soul! (Amazing, how broken my soul would feel after seeing a fat picture!)

FABULOUS!!!
My technique (not sure how it will work for anyone else, but it works for me) is to run a period of time, walk for the equal amount of time and then run the period. So for example I did 30 seconds running, 30 seconds walking. Then a minute running, a minute walking and so forth.
