I didn't have one before my surgery, but had one a couple of years after to try to diagnose some mystery pain.  It isn't bad AT ALL.  You will be "out" enough that you won't remember a thing and most doctors use a numbing spray so you don't even wake up with a sore or scratchy throat.  Nothing to fret about.

Simplest procedure I've ever had, I'd do it again over a lot of other things, especially a lung capacity test

True victory comes at the very end, when you can say, " I lived, and will gladly do it again." View "failure" as a setback, and meet each accomplishment with a larger goal.

I have had 2 done in 4 weeks might have to have a 3rd one in two more weeks. Nothing to worry about very simple procedure.

I just had an upper endoscopy to try to diagnose abdominal pain.  My insurance covered me being completely sedated, so the procedure itself was easy.  I'm prone to anxiety attacks, so I nearly had one during the prep, but the anaethesiologist gave me a little something to calm me down.

Go to sleep, wake up, no pain or discomfort for me.
