A little update on progress
Life is truly amazing! I am beyond ecstatic about the changes that are happening in my life!! I'm about 4 months out and could not be any happier with my progress. I've accepted this is MY journey and MY decision on how well I want this gift to work.
Day of surgery I weighted 288.8 and today I happily am at 205/204- SO CLOSE TO ONDERLAND!!!!!!
Day of surgery I was wearing a size 20 pants and XXL scrub bottoms, and today I wear 10/12 and a MEDIUM scrub bottom (Holy crap! NEVER imagined to be here!!!)
My hair is starting to fall out- but that was expected.. if this is my only downfall then I can surly suck it up and take it like a lady ;)
I'm in the process of buying my first house with my fiance (I absolutely ADORE it!)
I'm in my last year of radiology school- considering ultrasound as my modality which will only be another 1.5 years.
Getting married next October- having the whole pinterest/southern/burlap/mason jar thing!
And confidence.. I'm starting to get some and it's....amazing. I'm not too ashamed and down on myself to stick up for myself anymore. I have a voice!
Granted I can't tell a difference in the mirror, but I surly can feel it from within.
So happy and in love with life! Now I must go back to studying for my sectional anatomy test ;)
Congrats!! It's stories like yours which give me the hope and patience I need to continue on this path.
Have you tried Biotin supplements and Nioxin hair products? I understand those work well.

While you may not be able to tell a difference in the mirror there is surely a difference if you have lost 80 or so pounds....take a picture and look back at some old pictures. I bet you will see a difference then!
Glad things are going so well for you!
