Hip Pain

Anyone experience pain after surgery? I am having hip & back pain.  

Yes, I get pain in my lower back and sciatic nerve every now again. I joke around with my husband that it happens when my butt to gut ratio is off. I find I always lose in my butt before my stomach. And I believe it throws off the balance in my body causing pain. My husband will massage my lower back and it tends to relieve a little bit of the pain.
But I would definetly talk to your doctor about it, if it persists. It could be something unrelated to the weight loss.

Yes! I do deep tissue massage and run to help my hip.

Could it be we have less padding now and the bones are closer to the surface?  The hip I sleep on hurts every morning, but once I start moving around it goes away.  I do notice less butt than before, so that could be the problem........lol

I already had hip and back problems before surgery, however, my surgeon told me that I would experience some new joint pains as my body transitioned.

I kinda figured it might have to do with my body transitioning from the weight loss.  I thought about seeing a chiroprator.
