OT the boyfriend joining in the lifestyle change
I just realized today how lucky I am with how Eric my boyfriend has been so supportive. He got a fit bit with me and we have been walking 3 to 5 miles a day together. He has even changed his eating habits in favor of high protein low/good carb. So I have been transforming a lot of his favorite recipes into healthy alternatives that I will eventually be able to eat too!
Today he tells me honey I really really want to have spaghetti and meatballs but I dont want to ruin what we have been doing as a couple. Is there anyway you can make me that healthy.
Well I know pasta is not something I ever really enjoyed but its his favorite so I got him some dreamfields low carb pasta and making him exactly one portion. Serving with homemade turkey meatballs (high spice no bread crumbs) and roasted red pepper sauce. Then roasted yellow squash and mushrooms as a side to fill him up.
He is SOOO excited for dinner and tells me I love you and I am glad we are doing this together :)
*** Boys suck he has lost 9lbs this week too my 4 *** But seriously I am so proud of him
That's awesome! How many carbs are in one serving of that low carb pasta?
And yeah, I hate that men can lose weight so easily! It's all the muscle mass they have. Not fair!

I think it's really great that your boyfriend is getting in on the action with you. I'm sure it makes things easier.
Your dinner sounds FAB by the way!! I love me some roasted red pepper sauce!
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

Good for you both. My bf lost 60lbs my first yr out, of course he gained it all back and has had to lose it over again a couple of times. Currently he is on a fad diet, but I am supporting his loss no matter how it comes, although this diet is different, his brother was recently diagnosed with diabetes so that scared everyone straight. I have remained the same through his ups and downs.
Good luck to both of you.
