Hair

Even thoe I new it was going to happen and there was nothing I can do to stop it. I was just not ready for the fall out. As of right now its a all over loss, no hugh chuncks coming out but dam. Good thing I have a lot of hair.

How long ago was your op? Hopefully it will grow back quickly

Yep, feeling the same way!  I do take Biotin but it isn't helping.  Just thankful I have lots of hair....and hoping it will be enough!

 

Im five months out. Had it on May 13, 2013. I take biotin to. Praying it starts to slow down some.

I am about five months out as well. I have noticed my hair is falling out as well. I knew it was coming. I hope it does not last too long. I still have no regrets about having the surgery. Best thing I have done for myself

3 1/2 months out and feeling your pain!

I started losing my hair at two months. I have to clean my shower drain three times, my brush gets full after each use, i get handfuls every time I run my fingers through, and I'm forever picking hair off myself. I started out with thick hair, so hopefully it will stop before you can see my scalp. If not, I'll wear regular hats instead of visors (I'm sensitive to lights so I have to wear hats all the time).

OK,  I haven't had my surgery yet and this might sound crazy but, out of everything I have been reading the hair loss is freaking me out the most! That is a lot of hair to lose and I lose a lot of hair everyday already! Chunks?? Do people actually lose chunks of hair??

So far no chuncks for me, just a all over loss. Im going to up my Boitin to 10,000 mcg. I take 5,000 now. Been told this will help.

I lost a lot of hair but thankfully it's coming back in quite nicely. (yes, it's still coming in almost two years later).

I just wore a wig during the time when it got super thin. Now I'll wear extensions if I want it to look longer. But my own hair is making a comeback

I didn't take biotin or anything because I remember reading that it can cause facial hair, which is permanent. I've got enough if that already! So no biotin for me!
