6 Days Post Op - pain by my healed drain site - is it a new feeling of fullness?

My drain site is closed and I am no longer putting dressings on it. 

The site is just below my left breast by my rib.

It is really the only real pain that I am having with the exception of minor aches and pains.

It is a stabbing pain and hurts when I breathe deeply or move around.

 

If it's a stabbing pain, I would call your doctor. I never had anything like that except when I was moving gas bubbles. But those were clearly gas and would pass fairly quickly. For me fullness is more of a pressure feeling.

This is in no way normal. There might be a build up of fluid or an infection in the drain site. Get medical help immediately.
