NSV - zippin right along

So I am 8 months out today, haven't lost a single pound in a month but that's okay. I know I am doing what I need to do and it'll happen eventually. It doesn't bother me too much because I have energy like I've never had before. I work a 10 hour day, walk at least an hour or 4 miles (whichever comes last), cook dinner and then spend several hours working on our other business, or crafting , chores, play with the dog, etc. I wake up wide awake every morning at 7am, ready to start all over again. I haven't really lost inches in the last 4 weeks by the tape measure but clothes fit and look better. Who knows why but it doesn't matter. But that's not the NSV.

For years I have thought I was afraid of heights but I think I was really afraid that whatever I was climbing or standing on wouldn't support me and i didn't have the strength to hold myself up so I would crash to the earth. Today I went zip lining at a local place. No fear, just excitement. I had a wonderful time even though it was in the low 40s and the wind was blowing pretty strong and I can't wait to go again! The guide asked me if it was worth the wait when I told this was my first time and I laughed and thought to myself, yes, it was worth the wait.

So, if you find yourself discouraged with a stall, find a challenge and concur it! And have an amazing weekend!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

We went to Beanstalk journeys in Morganton. It was designed and owned by a friend and I highly recommend it for families. Pretty low key and great people.
