Psych Eval - I am on Medicare

I had to pay the program Psych $360.00. The Dr does not handle the insurance claim.....for anyone. I got a receipt.

I filed my own claim to Medicare. Today I received a check for $62.15.

That sounds about right. Medicare has limits to how much they will pay for various services. When a doctor or other health care provider agrees to accept Medicare assignment, they agree to accept the amount Medicare will pay (plus your portion, which is 20% for most things). In this case, the doctor did not agree to accept Medicare assignment, so you would have to pay whatever Medicare will not reimburse you for.

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
