Questions to ask????
Hi there everyone!!!
I have my pre-op (surgery next Thursday, the 7th) appt with my surgeon tomorrow and I wanted some input on what questions you wish you had asked but forgot to before surgery.
I have a list going of questions to ask tomorrow (have about 12 questions so far) but know something always comes up that you wish you had asked beforehand.
Any and all input appreciated.
Almost there!!!
You may already know the answers to these:
How long will I need to be out of work? Roughly.
How often do I take each vitamin & which vitamins you cannot take together.
How much protein can my body tolerate and absorb in one sitting?
How long on each Phase of eating will I need to be on.
Things to remember:
Sip, sip, sip as much as you can take in....cause it's hard at first.
walk, walk, walk.....it will help with the gas pains
help, help, help....make sure someone is there to help you up and down.
stick to the phases of eating...it really is important.
Don't weigh yourself every day.....at least at first (cause you will have weight gain at the beginning) I flipped out when weighing myself within the first week. Cause I had gained weight.
Don't compare your losses to others....we ALL lose differently
Make sure food is NOT your focus anymore.
Enjoy the ride!! Enjoy the changes in your body and your attitude.
