Down 54 pounds since August 13th, 2013!
It is so surreal knowing that I now only weigh 210 pounds! What what?!
I have lost 54 pounds since the day of surgery on 8/13/2013, (264 lbs.)
and I have lost a total of 66 pounds since I was at my biggest weight in February 2013! I weighed 276.
When I was gaining the weight and I first hit 200 pounds, I began purging, and hurting myself on a regular basis.
This time I am going to hit 200 pounds going in the right direction. In a healthy and happy direction!
I am sooo grateful to my surgeon Dr. Daniel Fang! He is so helpful and absolutely incredible.
It is such a wonderful feeling.
At this point, I don't even miss my former favorite foods anymore! I NEVER thought that I wouldn't miss Subway, Caramello's, turkey hot dogs, Rockstar energy drinks, doughnuts, cake flavored ice cream, reeses pieces, Mexican fast food, Mcdonalds, etc., etc..
It is an epic thing, I am so grateful for my decision. The pre-op was difficult, I will admit that.
Quitting smoking was the biggest pain in the ass, but I did it, and I wouldn't change my decision for anything in this world!
If you are reading this and considering getting the Roux-en-Y surgery, just know this. Stop thinking about it...Just do it! It will change your life! It will most likely be one of the best decisions you will ever make!
Congrats on all of your successes.
How much weight have you lost since your surgery date? I can see from your pic that you look great.
I can not wait to go on a shopping spree!
I have bought a couple of smaller clothing sizes, and I agree.
You said it beautifully. "Nothing tastes as good as that feels."
Thanks for the support, and congrats to you too!
We rock!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
