Me too!    I just dropped below this week.  I'm wondering at what point I should get a new license.  Did everyone wait until they reached their goal weight?Or did you do it sooner?   I figure I'm okay for a while considering I got to 70 lbs more than I listed on my license and I'm now 5 lbs under.  But I admit I'm looking forward to getting a new one with a "normal" weight at some point!

I'm going to wait until I'm at goal. I think I don't have to renew until 2016 anyway.

Some states, like Ohio, don't permit you to get a new license just because you have lost a lot of weight.  I know because I tried after a State Trooper at a routine safety check gave me a hard time about not looking at all like my license!  I was told that it s to prevent identity theft (although I still don't understand how that helps, since they DID take a new picture and update the weight when the license was up for renewal a year later!).

Even when I was over 300 pounds, my driver's license still said 250.  When I got it changed, I was down to 148, and for the last 3 years I have weighed less than my license says!

I can't believe anyone accepts my drivers license as me.  The glasses are the only thing that look the same.  In Connecticut you can't get a new picture even if you loose your license.  Only every four years. Just two and a half more years to go before I can update it.

Interesting! You'd think they would want one updated because of the whole ID thing.

Ohio is the same way.  Even if you "lose" it, they reissue one with the same picture and info on it.

Yay!! Neat feeling, isn't it?

I totally forgot about my DL weight being incorrect until this past Wednesday. I pulled it out and whoops! It says I'm 80 lbs heavier than I actually am. That had NEVER happened to me before, of course. Before surgery, it was 20 lbs lighter than I really was.
