what a difference a year makes!

I went to NY City last year for a girls' trip last October.  I was at my heaviest at about 260.  I had the hardest time keeping up and my feet hurt so bad from walking that I had to spend a small fortune on decent walking shoes while I was there.  I was embarrassed because we all shared a room and I snored at night.  It's been over a year, I am at 137 and the same group of girls went on another trip to NY City.  I felt great.  I didn't even need walking shoes.  I wore cute boots most of the time (along with all my other cute clothes).  I was actually pretty annoyed because everyone in my group walked so slow.  I never considered myself a fast walker, but I guess I am now!  I even enjoyed some great NY food. . . in very small portions!  What a difference a year makes!

This is so great!! Congrats!!

I never thought I'd see a day when my husband told me to slow down... but the past two times we went grocery shopping he was like, "geez, slow down.. where's the fire???" LOL!!

It was a great trip.  The only negative was that with my recent and rapid decrease in insulation, I was FREEZING most of the time.

Yeah, but just think of the great cashmere sweaters you can justify buying now!

That's awesome! I hear yah, I am 10 months out and I've hit goal and I am at my lowest and I can do so much more. I remember being uncomfortable for a NY trip last year at this time, and I went a couple of days ago and WOW! What a difference, my friends couldn't believe who I was now.
