stopped losing

The easy weight loss ends at about six months out for most of us. Now it is a matter of eating less and exercising more. Start counting calories, weighing and measuring your portions and tracking everything on an app like myfitnesspal.
You still have your tool and just need to learn how to use it more effectively. Do not drin****il 30 minutes after meals. Eat protein first then some non-starchy vegetables. No sugar, bread, noodles, rice, potatoes, pasta, pastries, candy, etc.
You still have about one more year of your honeymoon period and need to take full advantage of it. Aim for about 1000 calories a day to get to your goal in another year.
Hi. I'm not sure exactly what you're looking at when you go to Myfitnesspal.com. But at the top, you should see a blue banner and towards the left hand side, "Food" is an option. When you click on that, you'll see on the sub-menu "Food Diary." That's what you want. You need to create an account for yourself, but then you can either search for foods (And believe me--the most obscure things imaginable are listed. I live overseas and brands that are specific to the Middle East or Asia are on there!) or enter foods of your own (in case you do wind up with something that isn't already in their database, or if you want to include a recipe of your own). I log in every day and track my food and nutrients. I don't know what I would do without this site.
Yes, the vast majority of people do nave at least one stall along the way. but there are a few who do not. Some of that depends on how you define "stall". Some people (usually newbies who panic easily... no offense intended... we were all there at one point), think a week with no weight loss is a stall. Many doctors don't consider it a stall until it is 3-4 weeks with no loss. A few don't consider it a stall until it has been a month or more.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
That is frustrating!!
Are you tracking calories? Getting in some exercise?
Whatever you do - don't give up and don't neglect your vitamins! More protein??
I had surgery 6/19/13 and went through the same thing. Since mid-Nov until this last week, I bounced around with the same 6 pounds. Now I've lost 5 in the last week. I think perhaps our body just needs time to adjust (although it about drove me crazy). My SIL had surgery the same day/immediately after me and experienced the same thing. Easier said than done, but hang in there and good luck!

Without knowing what you're doing, it's impossible to say what you should do differently. How many calories do you eat in a typical day? How much protein? How much do you exercise? What do your surgeon and dietician say?
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
I'm not an expert and haven't had surgery yet but I read on here someone listened to someone else and increased protein and began to lose again. Some of the vets may give you their advise on that. I learn from them so hopefully I'll know what to do when I get there. Hope you lose all you want to lose.
