6 months post-op: what do/did you eat?
I'm 7 months out.
I start with coffee-and usually add half a Premier Protein shake to it. I drink the other half later in the day for a snack.
An hour or two after coffee, I have Greek Yogurt or 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast. Once in a while, I have 1 egg and 1/2 slice whole wheat toast.
Lunch is leftovers from dinner the night before or lunch meat and cheese rolls-4 oz.
Afternoon snack , I'll have half a protein bar or a cheese stick. Although lately, I've been skipping an afternoon snack.
Dinner: Lean protein like chicken breast, pork loin, pot roast or fish/ seafood -, 4 oz. and veggies if I have room.
I have started to incorporate some whole grains in my diet, but not very often.
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...
