Going for plastics in May -

Well I'm over two years out now...and have saved enough for plastics ...in Mexico.  Excited and nervous at the same time.  Hoping this will be last of my surgery for THE REST OF MY LIFE.  Getting everything done at once so that will be tough.  Hoping to be rid of the issues with the huge amount of extra skin everywhere.

May I ask where, whom and how much?  I KNOW I am going to need a tummy tuck when I get through. Even when thinner (I.e. 145) I still had this bloated/fat lower stomach.

My plastic surgeon just submitted to my insurance for a tummy tuck (I have a hernia).  I'm hoping they cover it.

Come keep it real in R&R 3.0 Want an invite? PM me here.

I wish mine would - they denied it. It really irritates me because the skin is just not normal. I don't have to look like Christy Brinkley.  Just want to look normal and not have all the skin in the way.

I didn't try an appeal...maybe I've given up too easily.

Oh ugh, I am really sorry to hear that. I have a friend who has been 'plagued' by hernias and has had three surgeries for three separate hernias over a decade or so. Hope they will cover since you're already having the hernia repair!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
