SO Excited! I saved $$ today (and not on my car insurance!)
When we first talked with the office manager at our surgeon's office and she explained all of the visits that we would have throughout this journey she said that my insurance required us to meet with an outside psychologist and not the person that is on staff with the office for our psych evaluation. Well, they called this week and scheduled our appointments (both my husband and I are having surgery, so double everything..) and they told me that my cost would be $320 for EACH appointment. Well, this was eating at me all day yesterday, so this morning I called the surgeon's office back and asked if they could re-check about that requirement with my insurance since the cost was so high. The cost to see the on-staff person is $30 each. Well, long story short - - they called and got approval through my insurance so we can the on-staff person instead! I saved $290 for EACH of us! Yay!

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
