Feeling Great!
As the pounds slowly attached themselves to me over the last 15 years, I didn't realize how much, little by little ,those pounds were stealing from me. It was like one day I was standing up straight and smiling and the next thing I knew I was laying horizontal on the couch gazing into the tube expressionless.
Now each pound I lose, I find I am reclaiming more of my life. I feel better. I look forward to my walk around the school I work at, each morning and during my prep. I smile more. I have more energy in the evening to do stuff and be with my family. I am glad I am having this internal awaking.
I knew I needed this to save me not only physically ,but mentally.....I feel in control of ME for the first time EVER! I like this feeling. I was always so out of control before, in a lot of areas in my life.
RNY has changed my life and I am thankful!

WONDERFUL post!
YAY FOR YOU!
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
You could be telling my story too! I used to love to garden, camp and go out on our pontoon boat but little by little I had stopped doing all those things. I just didn't have the energy and it was too hard to get around. Now I can't wait to go camping and boating this summer, and even bought a swimsuit to wear boating! Congratulations!
