8 Months Post Op
I can't believe it's actually been 8 months already. I updated my blog and posted a pic on my profile. For being a revision and lightweight, I have had pretty steady weight loss. I am a total of 80lbs down and a total loss of 56.25 inches. I couldn't be happier. I have only had 1 actual stall, and this was around 3 weeks post op. Since then, I lost about 33lbs the first 2 months, then lost an avg of 10lbs a month during months 3-5, now in months 6-8 I am averaging about 5lbs per month. So my weight loss is slowing, but I am still losing inches, and I really don't want to lose any more weight. Today I weighed in at 117, so at 5'5", this appears to be a good weight for me. I still eat around 800-1000 cal a day, get in all of my protein, and follow my surgeon's plan to the letter. I have never had foamies, throw ups, stuck food, or dumping. I consider myself very fortunate in this area. It's been a super busy week since I've been on vacation, so haven't posted much, but I try to read posts in the evening and wish all you recent post ops much success in your journey. Read my blog for more of my own experiences month to month, and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Happy Sunday all!
