My first dizzy spell

I'm a little over three months post op and this evening I had a dizzy spell that lasted for hours. At times it was real dizziness that caused the world to tilt 30 degrees right and then snap back, and at times it was more like vertigo that made me feel like I was falling. It didn't change with position. I felt just as dizzy sitting down as I did when I suddenly stood up.

I understand and that some dizzy spells are normal postop, but the suggestions seem to be either hypoglycemia or electrolyte imbalance, solved by eating something or drinking more water. I'd eaten a normal amount (a 20g whey protein shake and two 1/3 cup servings of homemade beef stew with sweet potatoes rather than regular potatoes.) I hadn't drunk as much as I normally do, but still had 6 glasses of clear liquids by 7PM. I drank a protein drink which helped a little, and then a big cup of decaf tea.

I still feel dizzy and it's starting to make me worried. Is there anything else I can do?
