You might be an RNY when......
Have not experienced this but have craved a Questbar for dessert many times. LOL!
“Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.”― Marc Hack

Nice! Looking forward to trying one of those. Do you think it is too early at 6 weeks post op?
At 6 weeks post op you probably won't be able to finish a whole one, but there's no real reason you can't have one. But beware---they are really only good when fresh. I find that the ones you can buy in stores like Vitamin Shoppe and whatnot can be hard or stale. I order from Quest directly and they come nice and squishy.
Also, some people have trouble with dumping and/or reactive hypoglycemia with Quest bars even though they technically are low in sugar. Proceed with caution!
Annndddd now I want a Quest bar!

Hi Kimberly, I have not tried that Brand Name but honestly I use the Bariatric Advantage Caramel Calcium chews as my "dessert." My hubby thinks I am nuts! But I chew it slowly and savour it and think of it as a nice chewy "Werthers" candy. Oh I just love them! So I totally get what you are saying!!!
