Evidentally I am having weird responses to certain food
I made soem very lovely tuna steaks for dinner last night, ate just the right amount.. could only get just the tuna in, and that was a portion of the whole steak of course.. A few minutes later, I threw it all up.. I at first, thought there was something wrong with the tuna.. but my husband ate and had no problems. I was not able to eat anything after that. It seems like everything goes fine til supper. I dont know why but that is the meal I end up throwing up almost always. Ideas?? I don't know if what I am having is what people call the "foamies"?? I get this watery feeling in my mouth like I am going to be sick, and there is goes. Today I had greek yogurt for breakfast, a different brand than I had been eating.. same thing.. REALLY??
Perhaps you ate too quickly or didn't chew well enough? Remind us, how far out are you?

Yes, how far out are you??? I went through pretty much the same thing with dinner for quite a while and then it got better. I think by dinner, I was pretty hungry and it was a more dense protein meal, and it just took my body longer to tolerate certain things. I still need to make sure I eat slowly and that I don't even eat one bite too much or I could easily be sick. What you're describing is the "foamies" and it's not fun. Try to eat slow, chew really well, and eat a less than you think you should. Maybe only a few bites of dense protein is all you can tolerate for a while. It does get better. Keep trying.
THANK YOU for your input.. I have started to eat "less than I think I can".. and it actually works well... Less "foamies" but still certain things do trigger.. It is like fine one day, another maybe not so much.. Live and learn. But thank you anyways for the suggestion, that seems to be the most help right now.
You are not eating just the right amount for you if you are throwing up after eating.
I had my first dense protein at two months out and it was a 1" by 1" cube of roast turkey. It was very filling. By month four I could eat about three ounces of steak.
At six years out, I could eat now eat about 3 ounces of tuna steak.
Throwing up is not the way to do this. You are obviously not ready for those solid proteins yet. I would suggest you stick to things like ground turkey and leave things like tuna steak for much later.
Throwing up yogurt is probably because your pouch is so irritated from the dinner last night. Going to liquids only for a few days can give it a rest.
