Do I have to take chewable calcium or can I just take calcium with D pills? They are kind of big but I can break them in half.

I take citrical petites. Breaking regular ones in half scratched my throat.

The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery says it's fine to take calcium citrate pills.  You can break them in half if you want.  I don't break mine, I just swallow them whole.

Kim, my PA has told me to wait until month 3 to start taking pills - she wants everything crushed or chewable until then...

I love the Upcal D powder, you can get it online.  Really reallly cheap and just mixes with water or a shake or whatever.
