hi

Sorry your in so much pain.  Glad the Dr caught the bowel problem and saved your life.  Take the time to heal and breath.  Hold your pillow on your stomach (when I had open abdominal surgery the pillow helped with deep breaths, cough, walking, sneeze, laughing).  I know it will hurt but when they ask you to get up and walk do it, it really does make a difference.  Although when I had my surgery I was in my twenties I felt like a little old lady kind of hunched forward holding my pillow yes even when walking  the pressure really helps keep your abdominal muscles from feeling like you have none.

Prayers and good thoughts are with you.  Do what the Dr tells you and rest. Hang in there

Hugs all around

Your problems are really due to your intestinal issue.  You would have had to have surgery anyway if they really were diseased.  Did he say how that happened?  Hope you recover soon and then you will be happy with the results.  You have had a very unusual experience that I doubt anyone else has had.
