10 Months post op...-100 pounds, but not to my goal yet.
Hello,
I had my surgery 9/23/14. I bounce back and fourth between -96/-100 pounds. Started at 258 pounds and am at 158-160 pounds. My original goal was to hit 151 pounds. Im so proud of my hard work and weight loss, but am having a hard time losing the last few pounds. I may even want to get down to 145ish if I feel good at that weight. I work out every day and follow my dieticians recomendations. Here is what I do, please help me if you can. Lately I feel like I can eat much, much more. Im also more hungry ( prob due to my working out). My calories are set for about 1200 per day due to increased activity. I get in no less than 60, but more like 80-110 grams of protein a day. I drink my water as I should. I do around 45-60 min of cardio and lift weights daily. I also jog trails and do stairs in my area. I just do not understand why I cannot lose anymore. I feel as though I could physically lose more and would like to break through this platue. Please help :)
I know this sounds counter intuitive but you could try upping your calories a little. I was stalled for a long time at your stage. Upping my calories helped. I don't really understand why but I know it worked.

(9/23/14) you came from the future please please please give me the lottery ticket
I was told to up my calories, as well. We started about at the same weight. I think I was 260 something and am at that 152 pound stall. Id like to lose another 15-20 pounds. It's like back to the old "All I need to do is lose 20 pounds" days before surgery. They are the hardest to lose, aren't they? We'll get there though!
No answer for you just wanted you to know you're not alone! Damn those last 20 pounds! : )
