You and your surgeon should determine how many calories you take in each day based on where you are at post-op and your activity level. I manually set my MFP for 900 calories per day (I'm 4 months post-op) with 40% of those calories coming from protein. I do weights/cardio 4 days per week and do a water aerobics class 2 days a week, which means I actually take in around 1,000 - 1,100 calories per day on days that I work out.
Once you and your doc determine your calorie goals, you can manually set your daily calorie goal under the 'Goals' tab in the second row of the menu bar at the top of the page.
