Just thought I would start this thread in case anyone is looking for some additional support via MyFitnessPal. I know many of us use the app to track our good/exercise/water/vitamin intake.

I just started using mfp and I like it very much. As of right now it looks like my RNY surgery will be late Oct or Nov and I am working hard to adjust to the dietary changes I need to make. I am increasingly g my protein and decreasing my carbs but I am wondering what other users have their goal percentages set at in mfp? I think the standard has protein set at25%,carbs at 45%, and fat at 30% of total intake for the day. What is the standard for a wls patient?
I just downloaded myfitnesspal today and this is going to seem like a dumb question: How do I add people as friends? I see a way to connect through facebook, contacts in my phone, and by email address, but nothing about adding my username. What am I missing? My username there is also: casiaa
