I'm Home!

What a ride but I made it and am home right now. I am so happy to be out of the hospital. I didn't have complications just a unique situation or two but I was able to get through it all. It was far more difficult than I expected and hope it was all worth it.  I can't wait to see what is waiting for me in the future.

It will be worth it I promise! I got a great report today at my 2 year followup appointment. I have been down 140 pounds now for a whole year. No more knee or back pain and my life is so much more fun. Thankful today and everyday for my surgery! You will be too really soon!!

YAY! You did it! Remember the beginning is the hardest and "buyers remorse" is normal but in a few weeks you will be patting yourself on the back and realizing how worth it, it is! WOO!

Congratulations on the surgery. Hang in there and I am a witness that the first couple of weeks are tough but I am three weeks post OP tomorrow and every week is better than the last!

Good to hear! I remember your posts about how nervous you were before you went in. That's me at this very moment -my surgery is tomorrow and I'm starting to feel the anxiety build.  I'm going to pray for a successful surgery with no complications so that I can get back home to my family as quickly as possible.

By the way, I sent you a friend request. I'd really like to know how your journey is going.  Wish me luck!
