Hi! I am 5 days out and have been doing fairly good except for some pain. Today I had some broth from a can of vegetable soup sipped on it. Finally had dinner at the table with the family and had about maybe a 4/5 oz. Cup of the broth left. I thought I was sipping it slowing. As soon as my stepmother gave me a Popsicle I had about half an oz. And felt very full and had to run to the bathroom. This all happened about 6pm.

My tommy still feels "full" and making alllp kinds of sounds when I stand or sit up. Sitting here I feel a bit sick to my stomach and I have to run to the bathroom often.

Help please I don't like this... did I drink too much?  Too fast? Something else? Any idea on how to relieve it?

Thanks!

I am four months out and strange noises from my stomach are the new normal! As for feeling sick to your stomach and throwing up I found that early on especially I was more prone to it but it improves over time. You may have had too much liquid in a short time or the ingredients disagreed with you. I also found that when I did get nauseous or on the rare occasion I vomited that it would take hours or even until the next day for my stomach to settle again.

Good luck and know that it gets better.

Check the ingredients in your Popsicles. I was eating pops with the second ingredient as Sorbitol. It did a number on my insides. Once I gave those up, my tummy was much happier and quiet. :)

My tummypouch was gurgly early on, even when I was just drinking water. I've had a few episodes where the "one more bite" wasn't a good idea. The super full feeling can last for a long time. Usually you just have to wait it out. Learning you new full signal will take a while, so be sure to go slow and stop before you feel full. I've found if I stop at that point and wait about 5 or 10 minutes, I'll usually feel just right. Sometimes I get hiccups too when I'm full. :D
