Was this dumping?
I just ate two way too big teaspoons of organic peanut butter. Almost instantly I felt terrible, sweats, elevated heart rate, going #2 and throwing up and dry heaving for almost an hour. Of course I am at work too. Thank god there is a quieter bathroom downstairs. Does this mean I am a dumper? I still feel ****ty, but it is passing now...
Was there a lot of sugar in it? It might have been the fat if not.

I'm not a doctor but..except for the throwing up, the other symptoms are defininitely sounding like dumping...not fun. I am 2 yrs post op and now have to use a glucometer to check my sugar- reactive hypoglycemia...ironically, I eat peanut butter and crackers to counter the effects. I keep them at work, my purse, car etc... I would check the sugar content in the peanut butter you were eating, maybe it was too thick which led to the thowing up...who knows...in my experience, dumping has happened about an hour to two hours after I have eaten too much sugar or fatty foods, did you eat anything else within that time line? As bad as it is, dumping has kept me on the straight and narrow. I am hypervigilent about sugar and fat content in my food and ensure that I eat several times a day....I've lost over 100 lbs so far. Good luck and keep note of the foods that make you sick.
then you were reacting to the fat, not the sugar.
